Related to the Academy of Music in Poznań and the Poznań University of Arts. In the years 1992–1999 the president of the Poznań branch of the Polish Composers' Union and the director of the Poznań Music Spring Festival. Winner of nine awards in composition competitions and a special prize of the Festival of Feature Films and Television for Children and Youth in Poznań (1992) for music for the film "The Little Prince" directed by Waldemar Śmigasiewicz. Honored with the Silver Cross of Merit 2014 and the Badge of Merit for Polish Culture 2015. Among the most important works from recent years were: "Altum silentium for violin and tape" (2007) or "Procession according to Wyspiański for orchestra (2007)".
